Fees

Below is pricing for both therapy and consultation sessions. Fees are usually collected in full at each session. Cash, credit/debit cards, or personal checks are acceptable for payment.

$225 per 90-minute session
$165 per 60-minute session

I do offer sliding scale options on a limited basis for clients without insurance or whose insurance I do not accept.

Insurance

I am currently paneled with the following insurance companies: Kaiser, Regence Blueshield, Premera Blue Cross, LifeWise Health Plan of Washington/ LifeWise Assurance Company,  First Choice Health Network, and Molina

Health insurance usually covers individual therapy and in some cases, couples therapy. If you have health insurance coverage different from those listed above, it may be worthwhile to explore whether your plan covers out-of-network providers. To find out whether your insurance company would reimburse you for our sessions, you can contact your company and ask these questions:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental/behavioral health benefits?

  • If so, what amount is covered per therapy session?

  • Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If so, how much, and has it been met yet by other medical expenses?

If you find that you have out-of-network benefits, I ask that you pay me directly, and I will provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Per the “No Surprises Act” enforced beginning January 2022, if I am not paneled with your insurance and you are paying “out of network” and “out of pocket,” I am required to provide you with a “Good Faith Estimate” of services prior to our first official session. Cancellation & Lateness Policy

If you need to cancel an appointment, please call or email to notify me at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged a $75 late cancellation fee. If you fail to notify me and do not show up for your appointment, I require a full out-of-pocket payment for the cost of the scheduled appointment. Note: Insurance companies will not pay for missed session.

I am not obligated to make up time if you are late for a session. More than a half hour lateness constitutes a late cancellation and this may result in me cancelling the session.

If I am ill or have an emergency that arises, I will inform you that I will be absent. I try to inform my clients of my vacation or conference schedule at least a week in advance.
